Some things in Life….
Back when E3 was about Games, SWAG, Laura Croft Look-a-likes, and extravagant booths, there was college kid who had a dream of attending the show. His dream quickly was defeated by the reality of E3 being open to ‘Business Professionals’ only.
Where there is a Will, there is a Way; and this college hopeful created his own company called LAM (Local Area Marketing) that specialized in Video Game Marketing. Did the company have any clients or revenues? Nope, but they had business cards and a Charming CEO!
The day of the show arrived and like a Kid in a Candy store the CEO browsed the showroom floor grabbing free shirts, stickers and hobnobbing with the elite. Checking the E3 program revealed that Tony Hawk was going to be there endorsing his new (and yet to be released) game ‘Tony Hawk Pro-Skater 2′.

I figured that elusive college hopeful was Daniel! I can really see where he now got his love for flash games. It’s amazing how one small event in life can lead to much greater events. I’m glad that he got to go. As for meeting Tony Hawk, well, i still think meeting Johnny Depp would beat it. Anyways toodles!

Just a question… was it always a life’s goal to become one of the hit flash gaming sites around? Because hands down i don’t really understand why the site only has 100,000(ish) members. Miniclip and many others have nothing compared to this. Thanks for bringing together such an awesome community to such a wonderful site!
We just launched our membership program in January so the 100,000 users is only from the last 5 to 6-months. Look for this number to continue increasing as time goes on.
