And… Action!
I just got internet in my new flat, so I’m sorry if I hadn’t been in touch lately. John’s sent me an email to be a bit more active on the blog so I thought I’d drop a line or two. Anyway, just in case you were wondering why the Sonny 2 patches are taking so long to get done, I thought I’d just show you a little bit about the other half of my work.
Apart from making Flash games, I also like making films (even though I’m still learning, and am not very good at it yet). Just about to finish the second term of the first year of a film degree, and they teach us stuff like how to use the cameras, and how to write scripts and all that jazz. The script writing lessons are actually very useful, because I’ve had so many people complain to me about how awful the Sonny storyline and dialogue is, so maybe for the next RPG, I can make it a little bit more exciting
Well I’ve got to run down to buy some eggs now, and Tesco is about to close, so I’ll just wrap it up here. Below you can watch a short film I just finished. We also submitted it to a contest. You can find it here. Would appreciate it if you drop us a vote!
Anyway… Eggs, then back to work.

do you now when gem 2 be ready
Wait, you’re being sarcastic, right? People didn’t actually complain about the Sonny storyline and dialogue, did they?
Amazing short film. The camera movement was really good as well.
I love the usage of a story controlling the actions of a person, although that idea *has* been used in films already (Stranger than Fiction). However, the part where the author discards the paper and starts over, killing the gunman, is very interesting and original.
Amazing short film Krin. The gun shot and blood effects were quite real and very impressive to look at.
I also like how you communicated the story with actions and movement rather than dialogue.
Keep up the great film making!

I really liked the typewriter-to-gunshot thing. That was pro, and made me actually say “whoa” without noticing it.
Well Done! I like your movie!
I especially liked the whole key press gun-shot scene.
Keep up the good work!
An amazing short film! I loved it. Excellent effects and it was very interesting how the author kills the gunman by deciding to start over.
People really are complaining about Sonny’s storyline? Those people are blind to a masterpiece then. I thought the storyline in Sonny was beautifully done. I love the idea that instead of slaying zombies like usual you get to be one. It is interesting to see intellegent zombies such as Sonny, Veradux, and Felicity.
My point is don’t listen to those people who complain about Sonny’s storyline.
This movie was fantastic. I actually find it incredible how the actor playing the killer was able to give such a good performance when entering the elevator and his eye contact was exactly what you would see in a real film. The thing I enjoy most about this movie is the scenario. The flat looks incredibly modern has a nice distinguished “LUXURY” look to it. But one thing that made me think alot is when the writer grabs his hair and then when the killer kills the person and does that too and you dont get to see his face. That actually made me think for a second that the writer was writing about his past life. Krin fantastic work. Your games and movies are great!
