Well, kinda a bit difficult for me, 1st level was easy, but the 3rd was hard. I don’t know if it’s me, But i think the first Warfare was better.
Good game but it lacks tactics and stuff.
3rd level, I was being bombed for 10-15 minutes, non stop.
I found the game ok, if not for the shitty frustrating AI of the soldiers.
3 enemy rifleman just cm away from the cover, so the first thing they do when they approach the cover is go over the trench and into the firing zone of the enemy, with no control device of my own to prevent this !
It gets painfully aggravating when this happens, up the point where (yes,i know i’m sad) i end up smashing my keyboard in anger.

Nice game, but too short and too easy
I love warfare 1944 and it’s alot more better then warfare 1917 but I think it would be even better if they had warfare 1861. That’s the year the American Civil War started and that war was bloodier then all the wars America’s ever fought in combined. That would be a very intresting game.

It’s an awesome game and some of the battles can get real intense!
Now i can’t wait for the next game (assuming there will be a next game), I think Vietnam would be good seeing as there are hardly any decent games set in Veitnam. Warfare 1970 maybe?

I like Hooper’s idea of a vietnam version of it. Maybe even like a gulf war or a war on terror version. i like this game, even tho i get stuck in the german campaign sometimes
this was an awesome game and that would be a good i dea for a trilogy the vietnam one but u should have more control over ur guys like getting them to fall back or make your guys lay mines and of course stack up behind cover any of these added in the next game or to this one would be awesome
i’ll give this game a total 10/10 because i beat it so fast and i beat warfare 1917 x2 with both games i am now trying to beat it on hard!!!!! wish me luck!!!

it’s hard to beat the tank
Ok, this game in its attempt to better 1917, has failed.
Firstly, I won with the US missions on the hardest level with no upgrades and had a 7/7 win loss ration. The German missions 7 wins to 30 losses, with upgrades. The losses seemed to be on what was the right combination of units to send out rather than tactics deployed. Find the right combo, you win.
Flanking idea is fine, but you cannot lock the hedge rows (trenches) like in 1917, so you have to keep returning to them to let reinforcements advance once at the other end of the game screen.
Troops will not frow handgrenades automatically so you have to click the icon for them to do that, and like manually releasing troops from trenches it takes your time away from other duties and missing all the action and observing enemy movements. The fun is lost. What is supposed to happen when choosing the surpressing fire option is beyond me.
Now, instead of having to wait for each trooper to become available, this is now combined with having to wait for your resource points to reach its correct level to afford that trooper too. Why? What does this give to the game? Nothing, its like the game is running slow waiting for troops availabily like this, and the resource points go up so slow that in the heat of the action, only the basic troops options can be picked due to the need to get me on the battlefield.
Even in the custom game you cannot do away with it.
The troops too are not so defined visually which doesn’t help choices or in their skills compared to 1917 so you can put some rifflemen up against a machine gun and do ok. In fact, what ever you can afford, just get it out there.
The clarity is not that great either, your shelling options will only apply if you have an Officer in the field of combat, and if the terrain has no trenches as such, they run towards the enemy, will soon die and the finikity process of acheiving the shelling is soon lost.
Oh, and the tutorial is weak. I had to figure a lot of it out once the game had started.
So the fun in the flanking system is all lost among the mess. And once the top/bottom flanks reach the end, they dissapear and not hold the position waiting for the middle flank to take up the winning position at the end of their strip.
And no ability is given like in 1917 to do a combined attack of all your troops. One option that should have been added, is the ability to withdraw troops to a previous defensive position is missing for any rearguard action needed.
What needs to happen to this game?
1, Mainly the ability to lock trenches.
2, Do away with resource points.
3, Bring back traditional shelling system.
4, Ability to synchrnise multi-troop attacks better.
5, Clarity in graphics, defining differing troops.
6, Troops to be more skills specific
7, Withdraw troops to previous defensive position
I don’t want to be a moaning git because these games are great and put up for free, but 1917 was such a massive hit that all the expectancy of a WWII follow up has been greeted with a mess of a game taking a backward step. There’s so much to unecessarily look after and click on that you miss the action… still I like the little mortar men and bazooka guys!

Lol, after warfare 1917, i started to brainstorm bout havin a WW2 warfare, 1944 ( im a WW2 buff) and this has nearly everything that I thought the game should consist of. Very good game, I guess great minds do think alike.

I LOVED warfare 1917.. but i didn’t like 1944 as much because i had to pick where i put the men and it seemed like they couldn’t do anything without me doing it for them.

Loved the game! Even better than the first!
I personnaly thought this game was a little better then the first cause it had more units to work with and some new stuff which makes it alot of fun. I give it a 9.5/10. I also think they should make a future warfare one like wafare 2144
