  1. 1st Place – Asherah – Love defeating the last Boss.

2nd Place – Zombiga – The graphics are nice in this game and the game play is not bad. The load time was really long and there are several bugs in the game.

3RD PLACE – Chupa Kabra – The game design is interesting. Down side is that there are too many bugs in the game.

NO PLACE – Pawn – The game takes to long to load. If you are going to use a third party engine make sure you read and understand all the documentation before implementing production. You have your shadows following the character when you jump.

NO PLACE – Gunshield – The game difficulty is too high. Quit after dying at the boss three times. The market place feature seems interesting. UI design looks nice.

NO PLACE – Chomp – The game is not bad, but the gameplay looks to similar to other flash game, such as Feeding Frenzy.

NO PLACE – All Your Base – Hard to figure out at first. Needed a timer to tell you when it was going to switch.

  2. 1st – Chupa Kabra – very intriguing, interesting concept, makes you work for it! idea made me laugh out loud- HOW did you think of that, craziness

2nd – Asherah – Similar to other games I’ve seen, concept was not very inventive…been there, done that but better than the others

3rd – Chomp – silly concept, once again – seen it before

    ‘No Place’ Allyourbase
    ‘No Place’ Pawn
    ‘No Place’ Zombiga
    ‘No Place’ Gunshield

  3. Ok.. now that the LA camp has voted for the home team.

    1. Zombiga.. It was worh the wait on load time. Art was amazing and the zombies had a really cool AI. Love the blood and gut piles too.

    2. Gun ship.. for the AI but there was little you could do when the levels went on

    3. Chupacubra.. You would tell a lot of programming went into it. To bad for the art.

All the games had bad load times.

Ashara wasn’t what everyone made it out to be and was full of bugs.

Pawn was made with an engine which doesn’t seem fair.

I could trip and fall and make Chomp.

I dont know how bad All your Base was because I kept falling through the ground.

  4. avatar Ihatecrappyflashgames

some games hardly kept me interested.
took longer to load than for me to lose interest in them.

    1st. Asherah

    the rest aren’t really interesting.

  5. #1 Ashera
goals did not need to be explained.Straight forward, interesting, and entertaining.

Also, had the fastest load time of all games, multiple spells, inventory, and mini bosses!

    #2 zombiga.
though it had a “pretty” beginning i quickly lost interest when i found out i couldn’t die.

No matter how pretty a game is, if there is no goals or challenges people will hate it.however,it wasn’t as bad as the rest.

  6. 1st Asherah, Hands down the best game on the list. Great intro amazing game play(not for casual gamers but is able to be beaten) The graphics are very nice runs very smooth with no glitches almost slim to none. Would look forward to seeing a fully functional product that could sell in the markets.

2nd Gun Ship, almost impossible but once u get the handle of the game its beatable. It needs to be way less difficult in so many ways. Needs instructions but other then that great game very motiony :p

3rd Pawn, I liked the graphics but hated the collision. Needs a lot of improvement but has potential that why i give it 3rd. One other thing needed is a sprint button game play is to slow without it.

no place chomp, too much like a already published game called feeding frenzy. Very fun but not original. Sounds are exactly the same as feeding frenzy.

no place Zombiga, could not get it to load at all. i refreshed many of time wanting to try but didn’t work at all. Also reminds me of asteroids in a zombie Apocalypse.

no place Chupa Kabra, all i have to say is what is this game. Its impossible to play terrible game play.

no place AllYourBase, i don’t even have a comment to leave because the game was so bad i almost started crying. Its an insult to base turn based games.

  7. avatar leadbuttonpusher

Zombiga all the way. Come on, Zombies meets Galaga. Good ideas guys, keep it up.

The rest of the games had too many design flaws.

  8. avatar MuffinInspector

Well, now that the Ashera team has has their e-peen stroked…

    #1 Zombiga
It had the best art by far, unique gameplay elements such as being able to switch between different weapons and having to shoot around cars to kill the zombies, enemy zombies had AI that navigated them around cars and they stopped at the barricade and started attacking with different types of attacks randomly, and it had great cinematics between levels and a great intro menu screen. This game also had a unique sound track. The piles of blood and gore from the zombies stuck to the main zombie theme, which was great. The gameplay could have used a bit of work, but i’m assuming they ran out of time and weren’t able to put many pieces together. If viewed as a demo, I would rate this game as being the most professional.

    #2 Chomp
This game was the only one that I saw that was actualy completed. If it had more of a ‘fun’ aspect within the gameplay, this game would have received the number one spot, but it’s simplicity made it not as fun, and the lack of other gameplay elements kept it from getting the number one spot as well. It was a fun idea, but it did not have much of a challenge or any kind of attention grabber, such as stunning art or immersive action, to keep me interested for more than a few minutes. Simply put, the fact that this team was able to produce a finished product makes them look very professional, and given more time and resources, they would probably have made a more entertaining product.

    #3 Ashera
This game was fun, and the idea was great. I did not like the art very much, it seemed like it was very amateur. I loved the ‘doom’esque feel to it, and I think that’s what really brought me to like the game. Also, at some points I thought this was too simple and lacked a certain fun element. The aggro AI in the enemies is great, I loved it. I wanted to think that if given more time, the team would have been able to produce a better product, but it seems like the story and gameplay where what lacked the most, and I don’t think time was a factor for this. If the art was better this game would have been at a number 2 rating.

All games had a horrible load time, however, some games did try to use the pre-loader, but it didn’t seem like it worked very well. Not sure if that’s due to the game or to wherever the games are loaded from, since it seems to be an issue with all of them. The game Pawn seems like it should have been considerably better and blown all of the other entries out of the water due to the fact that they used an engine, but I was severly un-impressed by it.

I liked that Zombiga was in god mode so that I could test their game from start to finish. The rest of the games I gave up on because I would die from the amount of bugs.

  10. Asherah # 1

  11. 1st. Asherah. Only team to keep to the rules from the very start. Also came out with a great produce. All the other teams shouldn’t even be able to place since they couldn’t follow some basic rule’s or meet the dead line specified.

Since they bent the rules for the other teams I’ll rate them.
Just a head up for the other teams, Dead lines and Contracts such as contest rules are important.

2nd. Gun Ship. Fun game, but some logic in this game didn’t make sense. For something like this to make sense it would probably have to have a ship protecting a planet that didn’t look like earth.

3rd. Zombiga. Fun game, I think way to much blood for a teen rating, god mode probably should of been left for beta testing which this game wasn’t submitted.

No Place Chomp. This game was fun but reminds me of evo way to much. Pretty much same story line and game play

No Place Pawn. Game was to slow for my taste. A Sprint button would of been nice. Also engines were not aloud at the start of the competition so i had to give it a No Place.

No Place Chupa Kabra. This game needs work. Suggest finding better artists. Felt like the E.T. Game back before i was born. If that was fixed and the some of the game mechanics where fixed it has potential.

No Place AllYourBase. This game could have been good, especially since there is no warning telling the user that you only have 5 seconds before it switched automatically, or that you only have one attack. Art needs to be better and fix the all mighty wow bug where you fall through the world.

  12. 1st is Asherah mostly due to the gameplay. The controls are fairly simple to get used to. I like that u begin to regenerate if you just stand there. Made it possible for me to beat it. I loved the spellbook and the backpack feature. The triple shots were awesome, and not limitless, which made it more interesting.

2nd should go to Chomp because it’s pretty fun and the art is very clean. I couldn’t get past the second level though. Got me so mad. But it was well made.

3rd place should go to Gunshield. Good looking, but the giant space ship never seemed to die. I didn’t try very long, but when I was attacking, the life bar never seemed to go down at all.

no place- all your base- i didn’t understand this at all. I just kept falling…

no place- chupa kabra. The artwork was pretty bad and the main character was too slow. I also didn’t like that I had to start all over again every time I died. The idea was cool though. Very original. =D

no place- pawn. I was firstly very amazed with the 3d art and environment… but the gameplay was extremely boring… it was just a good looking game.

no place- zombiga. this is not minimal blood… seriously, brains splashing out on the character and door is not minimal. Not that I minded, but I doubt this would be rated T. Putting that aside, the artwork was awesome, especially that very very first image you see before the logo. I was very impressed. Gameplay was terrible though. It had absolutely NO challenge factor. I hated that you could only move sideways. Both times I beat it (I think that was the end since I saw credits…), it was almost accidental.

  13. 1. Asherah
    2. Gunshield
    3. Zombiga
    4. Chomp

  14. #1 GunShild
    #2 Chomp
    #3 Asherah
All Your Base & Pawn get -5 gamerpoints for being retarted each…..

  15. 1st. Asherah

    2nd. Chomp

    3rd. Gunshield

  16. 1st Gunshield
    2nd Asherah
    3rd Chomp

  17. 1. Gunshield – Very challenging and fun game. Had quite a lot of stuff done, a full shop system, equip, and a talent system (For those who made it past the first level). Could use some refinement, I hope they finish this up and clean up the art, and gameplay. It would make a really fun game
    2. Chomp – Fun little game with cool abilities and awesome AI.
    3. Asherah – Wish it was a little more unique, and didn’t take so much from Diablo. Very simple game play but gets repetitive for me after a while.

Only other notable game in my opinion would be Zombiga, great art and really simple gameplay. But it wasn’t complete at all.

Rest of the games just didn’t seem fun at all, and very incomplete.

  18. 1st place – Gunshield I sort of have a bias but this game has that old school look frantic game play its easy to learn and fun to play

2nd place – Chomp this game is fun I found myself spending alot of time on this game

    3rd place – Asherah
    kinda fun

Pawn, Zombiga, Chubicapbra this games look good but there gameplay is less then steller

  19. 1 place = Gunshield

    2 place = Chomp

    3 place = Zombiga

  20. 1st.Asherah

  21. 1 = Zombiga: It was fun and I loved the art work.

2 = Pawn: Great visuals, could tell that they put some time into it. There are some bugs (floating and being able to stand on the heads of enemies).

3 = Asherah: Definitely some potential here. It was hard to kill the zombies while running around, maybe slow them down a little? Nice graphics and enjoyed the cut scenes.

  22. 1.Asherah has a story good gamplay
2.GunShield good visuals and is fun
    3.Zombiga great art work

  23. 1st place – zombiga for awesome graphics, beutiful art, fun gameplay, and zombies.
2nd place – chomp fo smooth gameplay, interesting levels, and nice artwork as well.
3rd place – gunshield for being a fun game despite the controls not being very fun. clicking repeatedly gets tiring but good overall.

  24. 1st-Asherah- good gameplay
    2nd-Chomp- nice artwork
    3rd-Gunshield-fun but too hard

  25. 1st: Gunshield, not extrememly original but looks good overall, the problem is that its INSANELY difficult.

2nd: Pawn, Has a gorgeous art style, however, the game is TOO SLOW and there are glitches galore.

3rd: Asherah: Looks good, love the character portraits, unfortunatly, there is not much of a game to speak of.

No Place: Zombiga, would not LOAD!
No Place: Chomp, a good idea but poor execution and a lack of direction leave a lot to be desired.
No Place: All Your Base, I have no idea what im supposed to do, or why the graphics dont load.
No Place: Chupa Kabra, the graphics are no so good, and the concept was used to make a dull stealth game.

  26. 1st – Asherah
    2nd – GunShield
    3rd – Chomp

  27. 1st – Ashera
    2nd – Chomp
